END OF AN ERA!

DIFFRENT STROKES TO MOVE!

It's with a sad tear in our eyes that Diff'rent Strokes say goodbye to Bug Bar, our home for nearly a year now but fear not....our last party next Thursday will be our best yet!

We're joined as ever by a few old friends and some new ones too......FLOetic LARA and LYRICAL HEALER seperate assaults on the Spoken Word circuit have been relentless this year performing all over London and the UK, hosting their own events and appearing on radio, they will be doing a special performance together for us with a full live band backing that's not too be missed, FLO blew us all away a few months ago and the two together...well you'll just HAVE to see it!

Smoothing things out next will MATTI ROOTS and Co, this group of lively entertainers have recently been receiving airplay for their latest material one BBC Radio 1 and have been waiting to come down a tear up at Diffrent Strokes for a while now, check out some snippets at www.badboybeats.com.

FILTHY UNKLE JIZZAE of The Durty Burbz and the infamous Mr SCARAMANGA will be spitting their hardest straight after that, two rappers to definitly watch out for in the future....

MOKA were with us right back at the start of all this and had to come back after the damage they did last time! With a voice as beautiful as she, this band and their lead singer are a sight and sound to behold!

New kid on the block this month is PYRO.......with beats being over seen by the mighty Stereo MC's, this lad's talents are already being noticed by the right people, unclassifiable, streets-esque geezer rap-chat, backed with a live band, he's sure to make a few new fans next week...clips at www.pyrouk.com

Scoop for the month is MOORISH DELTA 7, who are coming all the way down from Birmingham for a one-off with us! If you've not heard their name before..you should've! Having been on Westwoods show just last week we catch them in the midst of their UK tour, promoting for their new album, expect advance copies available on the night....get to know! 

And Finally Needle and Thread's finest ASHOK will also be joining us. Running on an alternative Thursday to us, Needle and Thread have been bringing a similar but equally unique set of talented performers and warm vibes to their nights at Bug, their residents ASHOK are a great band that literally ooze energy, everyone here's looking forward to their's which will be the last Live performance by ANY BAND, AT BUG, EVER!

With this a line-up this fat things will be getting started early, so make sure you're down to not miss any performances, your ever-present host Mr KEEZERMAN will be cracking gas as usual with any gaps filled with beats from cH!C0 & mEk....

We'd like to say a massive thanks to all of the artists, performers, sponsors and their peoples for the wonderful sights sounds and vibes they've brought to Diffrent Strokes over the last year, fear not we shall live on and ARE MOVING, check your emails, texts and back here for updates and keep an ear to the ground but a new venue and night will be coming real, real soon!
